In conjunction with 40 United Ways across the state, we invite you to plan at least one act of kindness for someone in your workplace, neighborhood, school, family, group of friends or community. Update on Disaster Recovery Efforts

Vehicle plows through standing water in flooded roadFollowing the earthquakes in Mexico and Hurricane Maria, United Way has taken the following steps to expand recovery efforts since the initial United Way Harvey and Irma Funds were set up. They have:

  • Established the United Way Worldwide Mexico Earthquake Recovery Fund.
  • Expanded the United Way Irma Recovery Fund to include Hurricane Maria.
  • Started disbursing money from the United Way Harvey Recovery Fund.

All three funds are accessible from Funds will be disbursed to local United Ways in the affected areas. Read More
